My posts have been featured on accounts with over 100,000 followers, and range from promotional to informational. I can easily adapt to a client’s voice, and am responsive to any needs or aspirations of my clients. Black History Month Campaign
I led the strategy and creation of this campaign for a client in the energy sector — its purpose was to highlight African American engineers and inventors who have made significant contributions to modern energy and infrastructure. The campaign was executed across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with high levels of positive engagement. More posts and metrics for the campaign can be available upon request.
#WomanPower
Women’s History Month Campaign
Inspired by the positive feedback from the #PoweredBy campaign, I led this campaign highlighting women who have made significant contributions to the energy and technology sectors. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the campaign was paused but had been receiving positive feedback.
Pull Against Poverty Promotion
I designed graphics and planned the strategy for a campaign promoting Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity’s annual Pull Against Poverty. Below are some samples of the different types of promotion I used throughout the campaign on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. General Event Promotion
I posted graphics and general information about the event to increase awareness about the event and the cause it supported. Although it was an annual event, the organizers significantly raised the fundraising goal and wanted the social media campaign to reach a wider audience.
Fundraisers
In addition to posting promotional materials about fundraisers benefitting the Pull Against Poverty, I attended the events and posted updates on Instagram stories and Twitter.
Team Announcements
To increase awareness of the event and engagement with posts, I created a template for announcing teams that signed up for the event and encouraged the organizations to share the post and graphic on their respective pages.
Seven Daysies Voting Campaign
While at Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity, the organization was nominated for the “Best Nonprofit” Seven Daysies award, run by local news publication the Seven Days. I created and led strategy for a campaign to encourage followers to vote for the organization, as well as raise awareness about its programs. Below are some samples of the content I created and included, with a more expansive portfolio available upon request.
General Voting Promotion
I created and published various graphics encouraging followers to vote for the organization (more can be found on the Designing page). This example was intended to be shared on Instagram stories and reposted by the account - it was the most engaging post of the Instagram campaign.
Program Spotlights
To achieve the goals of increased awareness about the organization’s programs and of increasing engagement on posts, I created a spotlight series for every program offered by CVOEO. The spotlights contained an image provided by the program, their general operations, and a community testimonial. The posts generated positive engagement, especially as employees from the programs shared them on their personal accounts.
Voting Instructions
To make the process of voting easier, I occasionally posted instructional graphics explaining how to vote for the organization. These posts had a significant number of link clicks, and photo engagements.
